LCSL 505: Teaching Professional Development Workshop

class or a workshop

The LCLC organizes LCSL 505, a course designed to involve students in the discussion of a wide variety of teaching strategies, with an emphasis on the inclusion of technology in teaching.

Language, literature, and linguistics faculty from all departments in LCSL as well as occasional guests from outside UIC give presentations on teaching tools and methods: previous guest presenters include Charlene Polio (Michigan State University) and Glenn Levine (UC Irvine).

505 is open to all LCSL graduate students and is taught every semester.
